Full-time (/part-time)

Purple - Blue Gradient

Product (& Delivery) Manager

Context

Having seen first hand the dearth of modern tech available for historic building management, we were founded with the purpose of empowering volunteers and building managers to care for and adapt these invaluable cultural assets.

The intersection of heritage, BIM, and sustainability is ripe for innovation and we’re incredibly excited to be building the platform of the future, to help ensure generations of the future can continue to enjoy these spaces.

Role

As our business and product matures, we need a proven Product (& Delivery) Manager to lead our platform’s development, and  importantly - ensure our team is building the right things, in the right order!

This is the first hire we’re making in this area, and because of this, we need someone who’s unafraid of being a broad generalist, and gets a kick out of responsibilities that blur the lines between product & delivery.

You

  • You’ve got a proven track record of enabling software teams to build the best results in the business

  • You can operate at different levels, with an eye for detail that can also see the big picture

  • You’re battle-tested in Agile & Scrum and comfortable being the evangelist and internal expert on lean, iterative development

  • Whether it’s speaking directly to end-users or writing user stories for our backlog, you’re comfortable getting stuck in to all aspects of what it takes to go from idea to implemented solution

  • You love running regular refinement sessions that ensure that from developer to stakeholder, we all have a shared understanding of what is going be developed

  • You geek out about business and get excited about the impact your product decisions will have on it

  • You’re comfortable leading a product built on a no-code platform, and working alongside our tech team to strategise how the product evolves and how to find compromises based on the constraints

The details

This is a unique opportunity to join Cheribim, an early stage start-up working at the intersection of the historic buildings / environmental sustainability sector.

  • The salary range for this role is £40k - £55K, dependent on experience

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (prorated if part-time), flexible working available

  • We’re open to applicants who could take on this role part-time, so long as we can have an open and transparent conversation about how you’d achieve your goals with a lower time commitment.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, and encourage applications from underrepresented groups in tech.
